Justine Teu is a fiction writer from Queens, New York.

A daughter to Chinese immigrants, Justine spends most of her time in Queens, where you can usually find her caring for her houseplants, sitting on the floor, and raving about her favorite word processors.

Justine obtained her MFA in fiction from The New School. She also teaches introductory creative writing at the Gotham Writers Workshop. Currently, she is working on a novel about a disenchanted god living in a heavenly metropolis, a struggling singer impersonating a pop star, and the troubled muse who weaves their lives together. In this work, she is hoping to explore the trials and tribulations of creation and art, and the complicated relationships between ourselves and others in its most sacred act.
